Assembly of Words - F.A.Q.
Q. I filled out the form to be an author,
but was not accepted - I did not even get a reply. What's up?
A. Everyone gets a reply. If you did not receive an
email after submitting your form, please check your junk mail.
Our email may have been diverted to your local spam folder. All
submissions must go through an email validation - we send you
an email and you must respond to that email to validate your
email. If we do not get the validation, your submission
will be dropped after 30 days and you will have to apply
again.
Q. I signed up as an author but was
rejected - what happened?
A. Make sure you properly capitalize your name on the
form. We do not allow authors in our directory who will not
even take the time to properly type their own name; how can we expect
you to properly write an article? Grammar, Punctuation and Capitalization are
all valid issues. Also, if you submit articles that are just
poorly written, we may drop you from our list of approved
authors.
Q. How many articles can I submit?
A. You can submit as many as you want - the more the
better. Just as long as the work is quality.
Q. Can I place links in my work?
A. Absolutely! Link to your website or personal
space. One of the main points of our service is to allow
you to submit articles and literary works and then link from
them - to your website or home page. The search engines
like to see these links and they can increase your page-rank.
Q. Can I write an article and place links to products?
A. As long as the links are on your site, linking directly
to an affiliate site is not allowed and could get your article
removed from AW.
Q. Can I use HTML in my article or work?
A. Yes. HTML is allowed when used for making your
work stand out or to place links in your work.
Q. How do I put a link in my work?
A. Here is the code for a link. Just place it in
your work where you want it to appear. Substitute your
url for "mysite.com" and the name of the link for "my site":
<a href="http://www.mysite.com">my site</a>
